– Academic Excellence: Excellent results require exceptional tutors. Academic mastery is a key ingredient for successful tutors. Applicants must be current college level students.
– Intelligence: We don’t search for the typical “book smart” tutor. That is already a requirement. We need tutors who have not only mastered the material they teach, but who have also mastered the art of being able to effectively communicate in a clear and understandable manner that promotes confidence and interest within our students.
– Integrity: We need our tutors to have a keen sense of integrity. Integrity translates into honesty and honesty translates into dependability. We need our students to trust our tutors and feel comfortable in their presence.
– Experience: Applicants must have prior teaching/tutoring experience.
